This thread is for you to discuss your great new turbo and stock injectors. Instead of doing it in Peters turbo thread.

Please post your dyno I am curious to see it. So hhow much torque does that moster put out? What kind of mpg do you get?

I will post the numbers asap...

Just wait ;). And yes I am currently runing stock injectors and a Modified vnt15 turbo, stock manifolds, EuroSport Modifed Exhaust, Eurosport 228 flywheel with vr6 sacha clutch, CAI with ITG filter, EGR race pipe... custom ECU with no imobolizer, 2 inch piping for the Front mount intercooler, and tones of more custom work...

its a 1997 golf tdi 90 swap...

For the record the ALH bock is a way better base for tuning, from the point of view, it is just stronger and more simple.

I'll post some pictures up sometime this month, and dont push me for the dyno graphs... it will be posted once I am ready to do so.

There are for sure some members here who are siting quite and waiting for me to post more info, that is is totaly fine... but I will have tones of fun once I prove it, and shut u all up :D

when you go with a vnt 17 or 20, 22 u need injecetors, manifolds, intake manifolds, way bigger IC... adds up to be twice as much as my setup...

I do not get your point? I had to do a few things like a custom gas pedal and etc... 1 engine mount to fit that motor in, and yes I should of mentioned the my upgraded IC. Wire harness is diffrent story but it doesnt effect the gains nor does most of my custom work.

Just imagen its a 2001 jetta, no swap. Lets keep at simple all related to the turbo.

If you wanna see how you fair against a 11mm pump, Sprint 502's and Technine Stg II, let me know. I commute to Toronto daily from Barrie....

I know what I put down for numbers, probably a good way to judge how much power you are making.

my point is that where complaining/trashing the VNT 17/22 thread because of the price, $1,399 and yours was $1,700:confused:

you said we need:
-intake manifold (wrong)
-exaust manifold (wrong) is one piece just like your super 15
-bigger intercooler(you running one too so I quess thats not a valid point) you dont really have to, I run stock IC BTW
so if you really need nozzles thats $300.00 + 1,400 thats $1,700.00
and if I remember correctly that's what you paid for your super15

so where does it ad up that we need to spend twice as much for our setups to get the same results as yours:rolleyes: (yet to be comfirm by dyno)

I work about 12 hour shifts... 6 days a week, I do not have time to travel so far to prove my point at the moment.
I live in Oshawa and at the corner of Taunton and Wilson Road there's a shop with a Dynojet- I'll run my bone stock PD against your uber-mobile and if your car even gets 30 horsepower higher than mine then I'll pay for your dyno, fuel and a meal.

Not only that, but if your custom turbo is as good as you say, then you'll also get your super secret tuner another customer... that is, unless your super secret tuner isn't in the business of selling his super secret tunes and super secret turbos.

What shifts do you work, and which of the seven days are you off?

I am a chip tuner so I've had a little experience with these things. Let me tell you, running pump voltage to the edge and 18 psi on stock injectors results in almost no smoke. Thus, with 25 psi there is no gains to be had, only parasitic losses and increased heat. There simply is not enough fuel in the stock injection to substantiate your claims.

All I've got to say in response to that is that while I might not be what many would call a "pretty-boy", I sure am a whole lot prettier than Clint Eastwood. Although typing like him I'll accept and I'll thank you for the compliment.
