2013 JSW TDI, DSG has been on local Craig's for months at 6850 has just been relisted at 6400.
That's a dealer's asking price, so their selling price is going to be lower than that, and that means their cost to purchase was even lower yet.
New front fenders, almost matching paint, but rockers at fenders were merely spray painted, rust coming up under the paint. Over spray on the mud flaps at no charge. Some other scratches but decent looking outside. Underside looks pretty good, too.
Interior in black perforated plastic looks pretty good for 124k miles.
I don't know what you've been offered for yours, not what color, interior, options you have, but I'd suspect that under $5k would be expected based on the risk the dealer is taking as being able to make a living on 'Buy low, Sell reasonably' basis.
On the other hand.... a direct private sale could get you more by eliminating the dealer middle-man. What would YOU need in fair exchange for your car? I could be enticed...
