TDI production slower than anticipated ??

I was reading on another blog sight that at the factory in Chat, the production of the TDI was running slower than anticipated. His dealer contacted him (Imagine that, a VW dealer that actually reaches out and contacts his customer!) and said his delivery date of his TDI had been pushed out by 6 weeks.

Anyone on this forum have any inside information on what is going on in the Passat factory? BTW does anyone know when the factory starts up after the holidays?

errrr, mine got pushed out by 3 months, from December to March. Will be 6 months from ordering. Hence it is happening.

I placed my order 11/27. Given the long delivery times, I think I'll hold off on buying snow tires until next winter.
