So I put an AHU into my Caddy last year and kind of rushed the swap. My wiring is messy and its time to go through it.... I want to have cruise when all is said and done. Just wondering if anyone has any good info on setting the cruise up in a mk1. Also id like to know if anyone has really simplified the wiring in their swaps like mine. IE only running what is neccessary to run the car. Thanks guys!

Its actually fairly easy in my opinion. The ecu does most of the work but it will need to see a speed signal, and pedal switch positions. I used a stock switch. Mine I used the mk1 cluster but input the vss in the back for a speed signal since i also used a 020 trans(hate) and then its a later cabriolet so it had pedal assembly accommodations for an extra switch it takes three or two with a relay. One on clutch and two on brake pedal.
