Hey all! I say that you all take a break from that real cold northern weather and have a TDI Fest in Florida in the future. I would really love to attend one of these, but I am afraid that 24 hours in the car with a 2 year old AND a 5 year old would really drive me to drink!! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Just a suggestion...

That isn't a bad idea. But neither would having one in Texas - we could have people from both coasts, the midwest, and everywhere!

--- Next year's fest will go to who ever can put together the best organized plan that can demonstrate a chance to succeed --- if you want it where you are get together with the group you normally see at GTGs and start working out the details...

gewilli's 100% right. the only way to ensure that the next fest will be in your area would be to make it happen yourselves. if you're interested, definitely put together a proposal! it's a lot of work but i'm told it's very worth it - ask us in september. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'll second what GeWilli and Poet said.
I'll tell you right now - it's worth all the effort! You get to meet a lot of great people and show them a good time. Put a proposal together and present it to Fred. If you have any questions, ask anyone who was involved in past (and present) 'Fests - they'll give you guidance.
