In order to help us plan this event, we would like anyone who will be paticipating in the rally to sign up in this thread.
the rally will wind through the Niagara escarpment and end in the Niagara area. This will allow for many different options for the evening such as a dinner out, going to the casino, sightseeing in the falls area. There is also a wine tour being organized.

Although I can't win this event I'll start it off by saying that I'm in for the rally.

I'm on of the marshalls for the event, pls feel free to ask any questions. The route will twist and turn through the Niagara escarpment with exceptional views of vineyards, country estates, and lots of greenery. One catch, there is only one Tim Hortons en route
.

If she does then maybe we can arrange for your wife daughter to hook up with my wife and kids and they can drive to the end point to meet up for the afternoon activities.

The track event was cancelled due to lack of interest. It was a very expensive event to hold and we wouldn't have been able to pay for it without more people registering to participate. The rally is shaping up to be an excellent replacment event.

Count me in too, with co-pilot of course.

I think that I've lined up a pilot / co-pilot. We'll argue the duties later. For the moment it looks like there will be a two bodies in the car.

well folks,
the committee just went out on a test run of the Rally Route, and it ROCKS....2 people are probably best yes as the 3rd in the back probably won't have the same enjoyment, but i could be wrong, i was driving and had Gofaster as copilot, 2nd car had Len, Dave and Jason...we tore thru those roads, shredded some tires too (only b/c i was wanting to test my new rear sway and tires, they pass
).

Roads are smooth, plenty of high speed corners (my car just happens to accelerate for corners, imagine that
) a couple straights to let your ride cool down....
bring your cameras too, lots of nice scenic pics to be had...

what would be of use though....if anybody has 2ways that they can bring...it would help. We could set them up as per whatever channel we decide and use them to help each other out, if someones in trouble or lost or if a lead car just happens to see a man in uniform trying to hamper our fun that day...

I'll be taking some friends up, its that much fun, yes....and my wife, saw our dream home along the route.

Now Vik...

We are NOT encouraging enthusiastic driving for a couple of reasons:

A) It's unsafe - You can lose control, hit another car, or hit the many cyclists and pedestrians

B) If A is proven, the organizers are probably liable

You will get some enjoyment out of taking the route at the designated speed. If you want to go through on your own time as fast as you like, be our guest. Safety is priority 1.
