Great pics and great TDI.
Be sure to keep that cute pup on a lease. My neighbor, a veterinarian who loves animals and whom I taught when he was in vet school about 15 years ago, was taking his Australian Sheep dog for a ride with his two kids when suddendly the dog jumped out the rear window going about 15mph, they stopped but by freak accident the dog's head went under the rear tire and he died instantly. It is sad seeing a grown educated man cry.
Sorry about the downer comment, but it just happened this past weekend out in front of my farm. We love kids, dogs, and TDI's!

Thanks for the nice comments. We love dogs too. Altogether we have 6 Shelties and a Belgian Sheepdog. We'll be keeping the rear seats folded down to accomodate the Belgian. She loves to ride in the car. The dog in the picture is "Stirling", a blue merle Sheltie. We're hoping he'll be a champion one of these days.

Nice ride. I *really* dig that color combination! I've never actually seen canyon red in person, it must be rare, We will have to get the rest of our VA/MD/DC compadres together soon for a group drive, eh?

I've always had Canyon Red near the bottom of my colour choices... until now. Maybe it's the lighting, but your car looks sublime!!

Great looking TDI, I live in SoCal and looking to upgrade my 96' Jetta gaser for a TDI. This will be my second turbo diesel in my stables the 1st one is a 97' 3500 Dodge Cummins. Now all I have to do is find a TDI but I'll have to go out of state for this, you all know story.
