Miscellaneous info will be posted here.

Vendors, all are welcome. If you can make time, please attend. If you wish to participate, you can simply have Summer GTG 2020 weekend discount codes for online sales. No need for renting tents, tables, or setting up elaborate displays.

Donations! Yes, this is a fundraising event. TDIClub is still ad free due to the generosity of the membership. That's 24 years ad free!!! Help keep it that way. On the TDIClub homepage there is a PayPal button. Fred and I are going over different payment options.

More info will be posted as details get sorted out.

Thank you.

:)

List of attendees will be maintained in this post. I realize this fest very short notice and people may not be able to arrange vacation time.

I'm in!

First in with a post? Woo-hoo!
I've put in for vacation time already not expecting an event would be held and this weekend isn't what I requested. Boo-hoo!

I have enough accrued time, but need to see if I can get a few more days off this summer.
I'll add a post when I have confirmation of a yea, or nay, on another request for a few more days to permit me to trek out there.

I’m taking a three week road trip around the United States in May. I’ll try to get this weekend in June off for Fest, but no guarantees given the close timing.

I’m looking forward to The Bomber and the Hudson Museum in downtown Ypsi. Should be a really nice time of year, too, unlike our usual chilly winter get-together. :)

Holy heck. This just might have to happen. I had employment plans for this summer, but I'll see what I can work out. Plus, I just wanna see everyone again!!! <3 <3 <3

Have missed you all. It's been a long two years with my face stuck in accounting books. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and will graduate in December..provided the flipping coronavirus doesn't f*ck it all up.

Excited if this can work out!

oh if it wasnt 800 miles away.
800 miles is one day’s drive. I’ve gone farther for lunch. ;)

Go through the UP or take one of the ferries across Lake Michigan and make a good adventure out of it. :)

98 Jetta TDI AHU 1.9L (944 TDI swap in progress) I moved so now i got nothing but an AHU in a garage on a pallet.
I'm in. 90% sure. Won't be taking the Jetta as its being stripped right now and this is way too close to have my 944 to the point of driving it with the AHU swap. I'll just ride motorcycle, just as cool of a vintage bike so at least i'll have that. My wife is working on her Motorcycle license as well so chances are we can both make it up. This time it's about a 7 hour ride so that's manageable for us.

I'm only 3 hours away and can make this so put me down as an "I'm in!".

Tomo - look into flying (Detroit airport is in nearby Romulus) or take the train. I'm sure someone will drive you around. Sorry to hear about your health issues!

Just call it TDI Fest - it will just go forward in a different format that's all. ;)
Fred wants 'TDIFest' used for the actual full-blown TDIFest. This is more of a large GTG with a national invite.
