So, the regular 2011 Jetta TDI Sedans come with front heated seats? Great!

Do your search and find out, but this is from vw.com under TDI spec's so it should be there.

I did look, I must have missed it. Sorry. (In my defense, when I asked the sales man... "I don't know, good question...")

I have been to three stealerships here in my area and have not come across a salesperson that had done any research on the 2011's sitting in their showroom... If they even picked up a brochure or went to their own website they would know the basics. I just don't get it!

thats just not right, a saleperson should know what they are selling. When i bought my Jetta it was too new and dealer had no clues about the options, but i asked my sales guy and he did the search for me and got back to me after a day. I wanted to know what the 17's looked like before i bought the car and he was very helpful. The jetta has been out there for about 3 months now so there is no reason why sales ppl havent looked at what they are selling.

The 2011 TDIs only hit US lots at the end of December, but that is still no excuse for customers knowing more about a product than sales people.

Along the lines of the recent US release, in my owners' manual under the towing tolerances, there are values for all 2011 Jetta trims except the TDIs: "Data not available at print time..."

BTW, the heated seats are great.

I hate how the heated seats reset to the off status when the car is shut down. Its a minor pain to turn them on every day for 5 months (Canada).

LOL the heating should be doing this on TDIs for obvious reasons (at least the MK4s). Do newer TDIs have a separate heater that doesn't use the engine heat?
