I’m at 65k mi and started getting an increase in wobble upon acceleration. I was due for tires and figured it was an unbalanced issue. I was feeling it in the steering wheel and the acceleration pedal. Pretty good shimmy/ wobbly feel when accelerating.
After the tire install 75% of the wobble went away. BUT ITS STILL THERE ! Mainly in the pedal.
So, now I’m looking at CB joints, bushings, possibly motor mounts??? etc… what could cause this?
Perhaps the unbalanced wheels over time loosened tie rods or something?
Any ideas or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I just don’t know where to start. I got my tools ready but not very experienced with front end diagnosis.
Thanks!
