strut mount squeaking already??

Hello,

this is about the 2015 Passat TDI, the Bilstein TC struts and shocks are fairly new about 2 years and probably 50k miles on it. now strut mounts are making noises already. I am appalled that they dont last this long.

Bilsteins terrible

So I purchased the Bilstein B4s and put on my wife's 2014. These things are horrible. Rides worse than what came off that had 120k miles on them and rides worse than my 20 year old 3/4 ton that rides rough. What setup have you all found that is good for confort. She drives mainly highway...

From another thread, My lower control arms bushing are going out.

Not looking forward on replacing them. It looks like I'm avoiding Bilstein.

noises is from the strut mount bushings. per Scott Krout (one of the trusted mechanic on the list on here/tinting guy) as I'm hearing impaired........

not sure if other Passat owners experienced the same with "OEM" strut mounts.

I have exact same mounts in my JSW, no noises. that's why I am baffled.

Mine too, especially on driver's side. Also not looking forward to replacing (have already had the parts for months).

Yes, my strut mounts are quite noisy and due to be replaced. They always seemed to squeak, now they are creaking.
