Stripped Injector Hold Down Bolt

Hello,
Got a 2013 Passat that the injector hold down bolt stripped for the #3/4 injectors.
Can the head be either:
A) tapped for a larger hold down bolt?
B) thread insert AKA heli-coil

Yes and yes either should work. I believe heli coil will be fine .

Did you end up tapping it bigger or using a Heli-coil? Just wondering as the car I just bought and put new injectors in blew #1 and #2 out on my way to work today. #winning
Whoever thought these tiny a$$ bolts screwing into aluminum was a good idea needs to be kicked in the nuts!

I'm thinking of just tapping bigger and putting a reusable bolt in there. I'll just re torque it once in a while since its not a stretch bolt. Oh ya, another dumb idea!
