Hey guys 2012 Jetta sportwagen
Driving to work car started running rough and flashing glow plug light, pulled over restarted car and it ran fine. Then it did it again and I got a P0201 code. And also when it starts running rough it starts fuel knocking bad! So I changed #1 injector. Car ran fine for a bit then flashing glow plug light and I’m on the side of the road. Restart wouldn’t fix it this time. I played with the injector harness checking everything. Nothing would barely run. Next day car still runs like crap then it just starts running fine no codes. Try to go to work and flashing glow plug light and would barely run knocking like a sum *****. Shut the car off let it sit and bam she works fine again. Drive it home I ohm out injector wires from injector plug to Ecu plug. 1.5 ohms on both wires. I run 12v from battery threw both wires one at a time and power a 12v halogen light bulb for over a minute no problems. Plug everything back in and it runs like crap again. So I run new wires from ECU to injector 1 plug. Seemed to run fine but now I got a P0627 and P2031. And flashing glow plug light constantly. And the car still intermittently runs like ****. When the car is running fine and I pull the plug on injector 1 the car just runs rough, but when it starts acting up it’s starts fuel knocking badly.
Can these be a bad ECU since I ran new wiring to injector and it still runs like crap intermittently. Plus the fuel knocking noise seems like the timing it going wacky. Timing belt was just done a month ago and these 2 new codes that popped up. I didn’t touch any of the wiring for these codes. And I swapped all the 646 relays around and still get P0627 code. Any help is greatly appreciated
