I own a manual 6 speed 2.0 tdi. Replaced the clutch a year ago, here is where the problem starts the car kept getting stuck in first gear while the clutch is in and rolling forward. The mechanich first thought it was the transmission but after testing concluded it was the flywheel vibrating and engaging the gear. You could audibly hear the change in engine noise when the gear got stuck and had to turn off the engine release the clutch and then the gear could be freed. Clutch and flywheel got replaced again and it happens again. Both flywheel and clutch are SACHS. Is it the flywheel? Is the series of flywheels and clutches just problematic or is it something else? Did anyone else experience something like this and got an idea what to do? Should I tell him to use LUK. Everything is under warranty.

What about adjusting the linkage? If it’s under warranty, let them deal with it, but I would be thinking linkage.
