Steering wheel button broken

The volume button on the steering wheel appears to be broken, and kinda hangs down from the wheel. Clearly it’s not working as designed. Does anyone have any experience with this, will a repair be covered by warranty?

The steering wheel buttons (both sides, including volume and next/previous) can be purchased/replaced... it's kind of a pain to take apart the steering wheel trim/controls. Just have to go slow and use several trim/pry tools to avoid breaking some of the plastic. I would certainly try to have the dealer replace it under warranty, let them risk breaking things, haha. Worst they can say is no.
