In your collective experience out there which additive has given you better fuel economy. I am working through a case of stanadyne right now. The bottle claim, improved cetaine and lubrication for the injection etc stuff. I used 1 bottole Powerservice (from mile 60) when I bought the car, but now have been with Stanadyne for quite some time. Comments anyone???

I've not noticed any increase in fuel economy with a 2x dose of PS diesel kleen for the past 3 to 4 months, but did notice improved acceleration and quieter running. The improved accleration is probably why my fuel economy didn't change

At least in my experience (and I know opinions vary widely on this issue) the Stanadyne seems to give the the best economy and smoothest running engine of all the major brands discussed in this forum. The increased fuel economy is not as noticeable as the increased acceleration and quieter running but it's a peace of mind thing for me using it anyway.

I've used them both. Only differences I've noticed is easier cold starts & engine idle smooths out (when using standard low grade diesel). Luckily, I have access to good fuel in Columbus.
