Hi,
I have a 2005 Golf TDI that is intermittently stalling when idling, and then having trouble re-starting. Starts after waiting a few minutes, but then stalls again. I have taken it to the local dealer for initial diagnosis. They found the following fault codes:
P0673: Glow plug problem
P0128: Thermostat problem
P0322: Speed sensor
Has anyone experienced a similar problem with related fault codes that they successfully fixed? The dealer is estimating a total of $1500 dollars for replacing all parts related to the fault codes. I'm concerned that they are just throwing parts at the problem without finding root cause.
