i got an email from a vendor about these and wondering if anyone has used one and if its actually worth it. just curious if its worth the like 300 bucks

Complete waste of money in my opinion. If you want more throttle, faster, then just step down harder and faster...for free.

Yeah, which you can do by pushing down on the GO pedal faster. All it does is ask for more throttle than the driver does, up to a point, and then levels back off at full throttle.

This device does actually work. You can push down on the "go faster" peddle as quick and as much as you like but it takes a set time for a drive by wire system to respond unlike the old mechanical set up used in cars. With this device it speeds up the responce time from when you push the peddle to when the engine responds. This can be done in a map as well if the tuner knows what he is doing.

A remap/tune/chip can do similar things plus increase power / MPG.
