Frank Boucher VW will be the title sponsor of the 2005 TDIFest. We would like to thank Sean for helping broker this agreement. Sean is a knowledgable salesman who specializes in selling TDI's. He is also a regular member here on TDIClub.

Details are still being worked out, but we hope to get the following:

1. A one day TDI sale in Lake Mills at the Fest. Boucher will bring a wide variety of TDI’s down to the event. They will also to joint advertising for the Fest and the one day sale at the Fest.
2. They are working with VWoA to have a diesel engineer in attendance to talk about the engine and answer questions. They may bring several cutaway engines to demonstrate with.
3. Possible sponsorship of a Dyno event.
4. Various VW Accessories and other auction items.
5. Boucher will have parts on hand, and may be available all weekend in emergency cases.

Sweet!!! I would be up for a dyno. Just got a new RC3 for the auto, and would love to dyno that. Good job on getting a dealer to come.

Any word on the Dyno yet? Also, will they be bringing used TDI's to sell for the one day TDI sale?

Yes, Sean will be bringing as many new and used TDI's as he can to the sale. He hopes to be able to represent all the new product, including a Toureg. One interesting note that he pointed out to me is that the new Jetta automatic gets better fuel economy than the stick shift. Something to do with the trans. Ask him about it.
