Part 2066 - Diesel Pump Dial Timing Tool (up to 1995, non-TDI)
This dial indicator and attached adaptor are needed to set the injection timing on early (pre TDI) VW and Audi diesel engines up to 1995. Although the factory repair manual for the 1996-1997 Passat with 1Z TDI engine calls for this tool, it is not actually needed (timing is set electronically). To change the timing belts on these early diesels, we can put a specific tool kit together for you as well.
