I picked up a used engine for our BRM, and it has a South Bend Clutch in it. Looks in decent shape. It’s a SMF, looking to ID what stage it is and does South Bend rebuild them for a lower than new price?
It has a red pressure plate and blue sticker Dyna Max DxD.

It has Sach parts TYP M228X/M240 for the pressure plate.

And disk 6T1810 Sachs 1862393031 and there’s not a lot of clutch pad material left.

And is this a decent choice for a moderate upgrade turbo and tuning on a BRM? Stock injectors.

Stage 2 daily has organic material (with a lot of metal) on both sides of the disc. Stage 2 Endurance has organic on one side, sintered iron on the other (if it's an older clutch) and kevlar if it's newer. But if there's not much material left it may not be worth putting back in the car anyway.

It definitely has the same material on both sides, I can see lots of copper. Now to see if they do rebuilds. The flywheel looks in great condition.

They might do a rebuild. I can't recall. I do think they'll sell you a new disc by itself.
