__. Up a good bit to $2.68 -- $2.75 in rural southeastern NC. I was in the Raleigh today and saw numbers about 10 -12 cents above that.

Where I live (north of Raleigh in the Wake Forest / Youngsville area), diesel goes from $2.79 -$2.89.

In the Twin Cities area, about $2.80 in Minnesota and about $2.95 in Wisconsin (higher fuel tax).

Same prices on the south side of Raleigh. I've noticed that it's about 5 cents higher when you can pay at the pump.

I'll be traveling through Alamance county on 85 tomorrow, hopefully it will be a little cheaper for my next 700 mile fill up. :)

I've noticed (more than once in the past) that the prices are higher IN Raleigh than out in the suburbs...

Here in Phoenix, mostly $2.90s and low $3.00s, with the occasional $2.89 mixed in. There are some stations (not near me) over $3.10.

And my B99 just went up from $2.64 to 2.91. Could be profit-taking, could be higher cost of methanol...who knows? I trust my supplier, and their supplier usually has good motives, but with D2 prices up, I guess I couldn't blame them too much for making a little money. 27¢/gal seems a bit excessive, though. I'm sure it's not (purely) profit.

I have been looking around for all of the diesel stations around my home and office since I got my TDI and the prices are around $2.95-3.15 a gallon, but I haven't had to stop and put any in yet

2.799 at the Pay-at-Pump Cheapie.
2.899 at the Cash Only cheapie that had been undercutting everyone by 30 cents from Katrina until yesterday.

> $3 everywhere else.

Last time I filled up, Petrol was $1.03/L and Diesel was $0.849/L.

Petrol is up to $1.08/L, but I'm not sure what Diesel is up to -- I don't fill up often enough. ($1.08CDN/L is about $3.59US/gallon. And I live in Alberta!)

I paid $3.279 for a couple gallons in the LA basin (south bay) last week, and $2.999 for B20 at a truck fueling depot that's open to cars as well. I didn't notice what D2 was selling for there, but it's usually about 10 cents cheaper than B20.

Hah!! Who notices how highway speeds trend down following an upspike in gas/fuel prices? It is so predictable. The SUVs have slowed for sure. We all have to be very satisfied with our investment in a TDI. No matter how high the price goes, my last tank yielded 51.7 mpg. We expect that to improve this week. :D DK

I noticed the value of my car went up like 2 grand in the last month or so.... But I am paying 2.96 a gallon. Any other vw I would drive would have running on premium which is like $3.20 a gallon now so I'd saying I'm doing decent.

With 658 miles on the previous tank, I filled up for $2.83/gal in Longview, TX on some Exxon low sulphur (according to the sign on the pump) just off the 20 a couple hours ago.

Hey DK, where did you get $2.84 from? Cheapest I could find in my town in Central MA, just east of Worcester, was 2.93. Please let me know as I would love to save the .09 cents!

thanks

The last tank was $2.49 (on 9 Apr) here in St. Louis. I still have 1/2 tank and I am on 445 miles. I will make the 600 mile club once again maybe even the 700 mile club if I wait to fill up. (I usually fill up at 1/4 tank.)

Jetta GLS, 2004, could only find silver
filled up the new golf at 2.899 yesterday in Glen Burnie, Md. Probably not the cheapest, but they're not too bad on price. And have best fuel in the neighborhood.
