I don't think the tariff war is going to hurt the fuel prices... south of the border, anyway. Canada really screwed itself by allowing so many refineries to close. We used to have over 30, and I think we're 6 or less now. And honestly, it's Trudeau's fault. If he'd taken leadership seriously and DEALT with the issues, primarily defence and border issues, we wouldn't be here. But instead he half resigned and called for a Liberal Party leadership race, instead of just quitting and calling an election so we'd have a fresh PM to deal with the issues at hand. If that isn't abrogation of leadership, I don't know what is.

Diesel was $1.849/L in Victoria on Friday. Gas jumped 10 cents from Christmas to after new years, but diesel has pretty much held steady.
