After my trip to the midwest, I paid anywhere from a low of about $3.50 to just over $4.00. Friends in Chicago area said to not get gas by them as it was really expensive. They were right, gas was expensive, over $4.25. Diesel on the other hand was only $4.19. About a di,e higher than I paid in Iowa. Went across the boarder to Costco in Wisconsin and saved about 60 cents. Also found Costco in the Indianapolis area was about 50 cents cheaper than the surrounding stations. First time I've actually found diesel at Costco! Also stopped at the new Buccees in Kentucky. Diesel was about 30 cents cheaper than the surrounding stations. First time I got DEF at the pump too. As my wife commented, Buccees was basically an updated cracker barrel without the sitdown part.
