Upside is an app that gives you cash back on different fuel, grocery or restaurant purchases. I use it as well and so far in the one year I've had it I've gotten $82 back! https://www.upside.com/What is upside? Pardon the ignorant question.

What is upside? Pardon the ignorant question.
It's a money back app that I have been using for about 5 months and it's easy. Read the reviews, do a search, then make a decision. I'm a happy user. Those things always sound so sketchy to me lol
I just fueled up with 93 octane for $4.09 a gallon... unleaded 87 octane is $3.39 and diesel is $3.59Non ethanol 87 octane gasoline is $4.09 in Elkton, VA. On road diesel fuel is $ 4.09 in Dyke,VA. So we're basically even on gas versus diesel fuel.
If your other vehicles get 26,15 and 12mpg a tdi saves a ton of money.... why I got one. Fill up once a month for $56.00 vs every other week for the same or more money. I'm way ahead right now.I just fueled up with 93 octane for $4.09 a gallon... unleaded 87 octane is $3.39 and diesel is $3.59
Figuring the prices vs fuel economy, a tdi still is worth driving.
Yeah, my other vehicles are a Ford Expedition which gets 10-15 mpg and a W8 passat that gets 15-20If your other vehicles get 26,15 and 12mpg a tdi saves a ton of money.... why I got one. Fill up once a month for $56.00 vs every other week for the same or more money. I'm way ahead right now.

Read their privacy policy; you're basically providing market research and data for them. Everything from credit card info and usage to location tracking, receipts, phone numbers, email addresses, the contacts in your phone, etc. Those things always sound so sketchy to me lol
Precisely what I thoughtRead their privacy policy; you're basically providing market research and data for them. Everything from credit card info and usage to location tracking, receipts, phone numbers, email addresses, the contacts in your phone, etc.
Remember the old adage: If you're using a product and not paying for it, YOU are the product.
Of course, everyone can make their own decisions, but it's good to know and be aware of exactly what you're providing and giving up in exchange for that "upside".
As for the price of diesel here in BC: Most commonly it's within $.01/L of RUG and most stations. $165.9/L seems to be the most common price on signs.
Yeah, its just like everyother app, probably stealing all your data and selling it. Then paying you back pennies on the dollar and you there’s your “free” moneyThose things always sound so sketchy to me lol
