Filled up Tuesday morning on my way in to work, $3.879 a gallon at a Mobil. Same station on my way home that same day was $4.199. Guess I made a good decision.

Saw $3.79 yesterday but gas buddy says $3.69 today. Guess I'll find out tomorrow since the truck is at less than a quarter. The JSW is at just over half a tank but don't have the bike rack for it at home.

Filled the truck last night at $3.79, minus a dime for grocery points. Did see one station at $3.69 but I won't buy there because they have a dime surcharge for using credit.

ULSD D2. Road tax paid. I have a 275 gallon tank and pump in my garage. I originally got it so I could run biodiesel, but that ship seems to have sailed around here, along with the ability to run more than B5 in two of my cars. Not a lot of reason to use it any longer except convenience. I only go to filling stations on road trips.

Crazy - I posted a photo of QT last month. Now, diesel is between $3.59 and $3.89 here in Texas, depending where you go. RUG is still around $3.05-3.30. And I'm surprised our resident troll hasn't posted the current prices per kwh for his Tesla.

Most stations around me are at $3.89 for diesel now. They went up a dime on Friday. At least along the state line, NC and SC prices have equalized. That means that the SC stations are getting slightly higher profit since their fuel taxes are a few cents lower.

At least it hasn't increased. I went wine tasting with a friend last November, and it was also $4.89 at a Sinclair in Kettleman City off CA-46, on the way to Paso Robles.
