The same Kwik Trip I go to: Gas $3.85 Diesel $3.79. It's been quite some time since diesel was actually less than gas.

3.639 credit, and 3.539 cash at ARRC Gas & Convenience on Broadway in Raynham, MA. At least four other stations on B'way south to Taunton price was 3.639 cash or credit.

A new station to add to my roster: Sam's Club. They're not the cheapest around at $3.659 but pretty close. And since I'm not the one who overpaid for a membership, I don't feel completely hosed.

I buy my gas at Safeway which has a .10-1.00 discount depending on how much you spend at the grocery store, I am usually getting .20-.50 off the list price.

For over a week now diesel has been cheaper than regular here in the Chicago area ( 3.999 vs 4.129, for example). But fuel here seems pricier than in other parts of the country?

Fuel is always pricier in Chicago. I paid 3.99 yesterday at Meijer's in Bloomingdale since Sam's Addison had jacked the price up a dime to 3.95 compared to earlier in the week.

Price here is 20 to 40 cents more per gallon than regular. I am in VA.
I rented a prius for a 300 mile weekend trip this past weekend. I got 56 mpg at 65 set on criuse. Come back I set the criuse on 70 and got 53 mpg. The car drives like my wives civic.
Kind of hard staying with a TDI with the prices like they are.

Price here in Chesapeake, VA is $3.379 at both the BP and Shell on Battlefield, across the street from each other 40 cetane. last month HI/LO was 58.3/53.1 mpg with the cruise set at 65. Fuelly average not updated in years.

So I was on a call out in the country more this morning and was pleasantly surprised to find, according to GasBuddy, the 7th cheapest diesel price in the whole state of Texas about 2 miles from me...

Couldn't believe it! I almost didn't even check because traditionally diesel prices are higher out in the rural areas but not today!

This is three consecutive top offs being cheaper than the last for me.
A whopping 9 cents over regular, how do they do it?
90% of stations have diesel at 30-40-50-$! cent premium over regular.
But the regular unleaded prices seem to always stay in a very close range no matter the station.

Early today I spotted this price near downtown Saint Paul:

Later, I did see one Marathon station along US 65 (Central Avenue) in Blaine, north of Minneapolis, where the diesel was 2 cents cheaper than the RUG. But I couldn't stop to take a photo.

Here in north Houston (FM 1960 area) I am seeing anywhere from $3.79 per gallon to $3.89 ... If you have the fuel rewards going on with Kroger, you can fill up at Shell stations for $3.69 (they knock $.10 off if you spend $100 with Kroger each month I believe—but that's a once a month limit).

Diesel today was $3.45, RUG $3.25, midgrade $3.45, and premium was $3.63 all at Murphy's Express in Gautier MS. Pooor Tiguans! Through experimentation I think I've verified the Power Service Diesel Kleen adds about 3 mpg to my JSW.

Any ideas how long these diesel prices will keep creeping down? Seems like pretty much everyone's been reporting slowly dropping prices for diesel for a while now. Cheapest here is $3.579 for cash at Dodge's.

The last plot in http://www.eia.gov/forecasts/steo/report/us_oil.cfm shows the EIA expects prices to just very slightly fall over the next two years.
