My vehicle is still under warranty ( i also have extended warranty)

Right rare break lights:

My right rare brake light is only half lit now. How easy is it to change them? My vehicle is still under warranty and will the dealer do it for free?

Backseat Arm rest:

This arm rest will refuse to come down, i am not sure what happened to it? Does the dealer cover this as well? Do y'all have any experience with this?

Right sun visor is broken:

The passenger side sun visor is broken with the rod hanging a little, will the dealer also take care of this free of charge?

Other than the above items, this car is great. I am getting better and better MPG and i'm loving the 6-speed manual! :)

ALL of these issues should be fixed by your dealer under your warranty. This is what warranties are for. When you bring your car in for it's next service, just give them a list of everything you can find that is not perfect. They should cheerfully fix them - if not, find a new dealer (if possible).

Have Fun!

Don

P.S. If you don't like it, it's not trivial. Get it fixed.

I had the backseat armrest problem in my 2010 JSW. I had the dealer fix it at my 10K service last month. They were aware that this was a common problem and it was pretty straigtforward to fix.

I should have updated this thread but i took this car into the Archer VW dealership in Southwest of Houston and they did a fabulous job. Not only did they fixed everything free of charge but they also fixed two recalls, (1 is a computer update, 2nd is the tire pressure sensor being too sensitive). For the people who are in Houston the Archer VW service department has been great to me, it is where i take for my free 10k,20k, and 30k maintenance. :)

btw:

i have no affiliation with Archer, i am just a happy customer.
