Third owner of 2014 Passat TDI SEL Premium approximately 59,000 miles.
Loaded. I won't list all of the options but it has them all. SoCal car it’s whole life, so it’s rarely seen water!
Bought the car back in September 2022 as a commuter car to drive 300-400 miles a week on the SoCal highways. Car does a great job and is super comfortable for the longer drives. Traffic was starting to drive me nuts with people cutting in and out all the time, I found a model s with the early gen autopilot with lane tracking and adaptive cruise. I may end up keeping this car for my teenage son but figured I’d put it out there to see if anyone would be interested in buying it.
I bought the Passat TDI from a local dealership in LA Area, it’s been great.
I had a check engine light come on day two of ownership. Knowing it was under warranty, I drove it to the local VW dealership and found out the heater core was blocked. That was replaced and I have had no issues with anything since.
I’m meticulous about the maintenance of my cars. Immediately after getting the car I swapped all the fluids and filters on the car.
Here’s a list of what I’ve done in last 4 months of ownership:
Got a second key cut and programmed - $333
Ceramic 3m film on windows with full lifetime transferable warranty (bubbling and discoloration)- $430
Changed Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter
Heater Core replaced under extended warranty.
Replace Oil & Oil Filter, DSG Fluid & Filter, Fuel Filter (ID Parts Kits all around)
Brakes and Brake Rotors changed. Brake fluid flushed. OEM Rotors and mix of pads (ID Parts also.)
Tires have about 5,000 miles on them, we’re replaced by dealer I bought the car from.
Car is still covered under emissions warranty until June 2024
Car is black with black interior.
Exterior is 8/10. All panels are original but there are a fair bit of dings, scratches and swirls. Back bumper also has a spider web crack on it, it was like that when I got it. None of these things bother me, but just wanted to let you know the exterior body isn’t perfect, everything is less than a quarter in size though too.
Interior is 10/10, no smells, rips or tears.
Windshield has some discoloration and scratches in it, I’m guessing it’s from when it was left outside waiting for the exhaust mod? It’s still the original windshield though too.
I’ll also include some tools and adaptors I got with kits I bought from ID Parts including the DSG fluid change kit, oil change kit. I’ve got a bottle of AdBlue I’ll throw in plus a nice AdBlue hose too. Also for the right price, I’ll throw in the VAGCOM I bought to do the DSG with….unless of course I trade for a Q7.
I will post pictures as soon as I can get it cleaned up.
Asking $15,000. Will consider trading for a 2013-2015 Q7 TDI too.
