Hi All,
I am planning to sell my 2003 TDI Wagon, 5 speed. It is a very nice clean two owner car. I bought it in 2010 with 75,000 miles from the VW dealer in Greely, CO. The first owner had bought and had it serviced from that dealership. Since then I have put nearly 100K miles on it. The mileage is 167,247 miles. It has been a great car and the stick makes it sporty to drive.
To save you time, I will list the “bad” first. It has the normal chips on the paint. Nothing major. Scrape on the left rear bumper and gink on the rear bumper (before I owned). Two burn spots on the driver side rear seat. I don’t smoke and it was sold as a non-smoker car, so maybe they are from something else. Driver seat has wear on the stitching on the side. The driver floor pad has a hole in it. Carpet under is worn. The latch for the console is broken, so I hold it closed with rubber bands. The windshield washer does not work, but I have the replacement. Moon roof opens slightly and closes on its own sometimes when driving. I am keeping the Scan Gauge.
The “Good”. 167,247 miles. New M & S tires and alternator with approx 7,000 mi wear. Michelin Summer tires stored at tire shop. Kermi flash tune Q-Loader. It is set on economy but, with the tune and injectors, it still has more power than the factory set up. 125k mi timing belt kit at 91k miles. Bosio PowerPlus 520 injectors and South Bend clutch and flywheel . Replaced glow plugs at around 150K mi. Trans oil changed at around 100k mi. N75 valve at 104k mi. Replace driver door micro switch (all lights and cruise work). No codes. No leaks. Evolution alum skid plate. Changed oil regularly at 5k mi with Mobile 1 synthetic. Does not use oil. New, in the tank fuel pump 3,000 mi ago. Cleaned tank at this time. No rust that I am aware of. Kept in the garage it’s whole life.
A lot of the work was performed at Diesel Land in CO. Oil changes were done by myself. Some of the work was done by Rocky Mtn Motors in Cheyenne. This car cruises effortlessly. Interstate HW in Wy is 80 mph. You will find yourself going 90 plus and never realize it…..of course most of you owners already know that. All filters, misc, etc I have will go with it. Selling because at my age it is getting difficult to get in and out of.
I live near Cheyenne, WY. The car will leave here with a fresh oil change. Asking price is $6,200. See pictures at Imgur: The magic of the Internet The only way I could blow up a pic was to click the three dots on the upper right of pic. Then download the picture. The downloaded image comes up next to the pic. The pictures will answer a lot of your questions. If there are specific pics you want to see, let me know. Thanks for looking. For
