I still have this manual but sold off all my ALH because it looks good on my shelf. Very good condition for a factory service manual. It has no splits in the binding and only shows one crease. The plastic film on the front cover shows lots of wrinkles but is still attached across the page. Corners are still in good shape. Has some dirty smudge marks but no greasy pages. I own 5 different Bentley manuals, and this one is in the best condition. I will add some pictures in the next week. $75 shipped or it goes on ebay one day.

I honestly didn't realize that there was a version of this manual that only went to the 2002 model year and so doesn't include the BEW.
But still - it's in great shape, so if you do any work on these cars (and face it - they're 20+yr old cars at this point, so they're gonna require work), you'd never regret having this; money well-spent.

I have all the manuals in .pdf form, but with mucky hands or just needing to do a quick lookup, it's so much easier to pull out the big red bible than to clean up to poke around on the computer.

Do you still have this? I still have my ALH and it is at 540,000 miles.

Still do, safely stowed on my bookshelf. I agree with Nuje. These are so much better than using a computer. I have a family sedan from 2007 with a 3,000 page digital file. It is too much and a hassle to use. A Bentley Manual is such a better tool and one of the reasons I am going back to an 80's or 90's designed car (MK4 and ALH are from 99 ;)).

If you are willing to sell it, I will buy it. PM me with your PayPal address and I will send the $75 I have a 2002 MK4 Jetta, 5 speed with an ALH coming up on the next timing belt change in 15k miles, 547,000+miles on the odometer.

I was at a used book store this past weekend and saw one for the 1998-1999 New Beetle only.
Basic look of it was exactly the same as my 1999-2005 manual (as one would expect); I just didn't realize there were so many different variations of the Mk4 manual that Bentley produced.

I suppose it was just publishing year dependent. If they published one in '0̷2, it would only go to there, right?
