This has been sold and I believe it to be going to an interesting project.
ALH Engine
Chevrolet adapter kit with flywheel and starter
M-TDI injector pump
Some kind of weld up engine mount kit
Pictures of everything included below.
I have an ALH engine that my father bought for a TDI swap he wanted to do eight or ten years ago. It sat in a crate, taped up as shown in the pictures, in his shop until he died six years ago and I hauled it to my shop where it sat until several weeks ago when I had a mind to put it in my TR7. I realize now that this kind of wrenching is no longer something that relaxes me.
I do not know much about this engine. I know that it rotates freely and that it has compression. The blades on the turbocharger are seized.
I realize I am a new member here though I have been lurking a while during the honeymoon planning phase of this project. I will answer whatever questions I can. I am located in Chapin, South Carolina (~20 miles west of Columbia) and I prefer to deal in person with cash after a buyer has been able to see everything firsthand.
