CAR IS NOW SOLD. THANKS TDI CLUB.

Just to get it out of the way, here are your buying options (extra wheels, extra parts, what I'm willing to change for a sale):

I can sell the car several different ways with different combinations of wheels.
I have 3 sets of wheels.
1. I can sell the car as it sits in winter mode with 17" MSW Type 14's with 225/45/17 Blizzak winter tires for $19,000.
2. I have a set of authentic BBS CH, 18"x8" offset +50, powdercoated white, with 225/40/18 Kuhmo all seasons currently mounted. Tires have about 15,000 miles and are in great shape still. I will sell the car on the winter setup, and include the BBSes for $20,500.
3. I have a set of Neuspeed RS10, forged, lightweight wheels, factory silver color, with 225/40/18 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs mounted (nice and sticky summer tire). Tires have about 5-6/32 left and are in great shape. These are a rare wheel, not in production anymore. The wheel weighs 17.8lbs, and the wheel tire combo only weighs 42 lbs. I will sell the car on the winter setup, and include the Neuspeeds for $20,500.
4. I will sell the car as it sits in winter mode and include both summer sets of wheels for $21,500.

Beyond that, I also have some parts stashed that I was planning on installing this winter, and still will if it doesn't sell. This includes the start of the OEM R32 big brake kit. I have ECS Tuning Geomet slotted rotors, ECS Tuning stainless brake lines, and dust shields. I also have fog lights, fog light grilles (expensive and rare), and wiring harness. I will include this all for an extra $650 on top of whatever configuration of wheels you want.

Furthermore, the only things I'm really willing to change for a sale are: return to stock suspension and change VCDS coding. I will discuss special cases with the exhaust, though, such as if you are in a very strict emissions area. I would really prefer to sell it as is, though.

Now, onto the rest of the ad:

As you can see, 2010 VW Jetta TDI Cup car, in black. It has the Thunderbunny option (bumpers and skirts), no spoiler, no nav. It's basically a diesel GLI. Had the factory sport suspension, and interlagos plaid sport seats, 18" wheels specific to the Cup car and Fahrenheit cars, optional body panels, vinyl TDI Cup Edition on doors. Oh, and it's 1 of 1501 Cup Editions made. This isn't your average Jetta TDI econobox.

It has monster mats, and cargo blocks for trunk.
Car is clean, no accidents, inside and outside it's in great condition. Front end has some rock chips and stuff, but nothing too terrible.

If anyone is actually interested, and wants specifics on the tune and exhaust and relevant characteristics of them, contact me and I'll be glad to answer questions.

Fuel mileage is great. My average with the tune has gone up substantially. I average 45ish to work. Best tank has been 50. Will be better in a less hilly area when you can use 6th gear more. I also don't drive a ton of highway. During this winter, I have averaged about 40mpg. It also has the power to be quite fun when you want it to be. With all the torque, I really think it's a blast to drive. It's not a race car, but it's fun.

The car is modded, which may not be for everyone, and they are as follows:

- Rawtek Perf. Fab. downpipe and midpipe - got rid of all emissions. DPF, cats, EGR block off. It's a stainless 2.75" SCH. 10 downpipe to a 3" 304 mid pipe.
- Custom designed stainless 2.5" catback
- Malone Tuning - Stage 2 tune to accommodate exhaust work. Disabled EGR, DPF, ETC. No lights, warnings, issues, ETC, at all. Tune is perfect and the car runs great.
- ScanGauge II sitting on top of steering column. Used for EGT, Water temp, and boost monitoring.
- H&R Premium Performance Coilovers - Aluminum bodies up front. Saves some weight. They don't go very low, but they perform so well. Smoother than stock, not bouncy, handle amazingly.
- Black Forest Industries - Torque arm/pendulum/dog bone insert. Just doesn't let engine rock as much, and makes shifts feel WAY smoother.
- "Ed's Headlights" - Projector 5000K HID headlights, bought from a forum vendor. Pretty nice units. Much nicer than stock at night.
- Custom painted engine cover with TDI Cup Edition logo.
- 20% tint all around minus windshield.
- Euro lightswitch to allow foglights front/rear. Was planning to install front foglights.
- Dash top tray where dash top vent used to be.
- Black Forest Industries - Heavy Weight billet shift knob.
- VCDS/VAG-Com tweaks

I have some stock parts still that could go with it if wanted: stock exhaust minus muffler and stock suspension.
I may have forgotten things, and I may add them, otherwise just contact me and ask questions.

I don't really have any interior shots. I can get some this weekend. But yeah, all of the Cup cars have the plaid GTI/GLI seats. I have not put it on a dyno, yet. There are plenty of graphs out there to look at, though, to get a feel for power levels.

Well I'm overseas until the first week of October, but if for some reason you haven't sold by then, I'll give you an email. This is exactly what I would want to do to a TDI, down to the BBS and hid's. All done with quality parts. Plus with the plaid cloth, I would finally have an excuse to execute my black German car on red leather fantasy. Something like this:

Best of luck to you, and keep us updated if it sells? Thx

I might be somewhat interested. I am working in my wife to get rid of her car and go with a TDI. I think she'll like this.

I really want this car but I just don't think I want to go this deep into one right now. Car looks sweet though.

The No DPF really kills the valve sorry to say. When you mod a car like this it's best to keep the car or sell at a loss.

Thank you for the unnecessary input. It's not for everyone, obviously, but for some it might make it worthwhile.

I guess that why it still for sale. If it was pretty close to stock that car would been gone by now. You would of better off doing these mods on less desired model of Jetta.

Not necessarily.

This is a very tastefully modded car and for somebody looking for a 6 speed cup with all the right parts already on it, they'll go for it.

Added BFI's shift knob. Looks so good. And here's a roller shot from August. Sorry for the crappy cell phone shot of the shift knob.

As I say in the ad, I will discuss special cases for exhaust and tune. I realize it's a hard sell because not everyone has it as easy on emissions as I. I still have the stock exhaust and can put it back on and get a stock tune.

Bumping this for lowered price and for full disclosure. Car was broken into 3 weeks ago through the sunroof. Just got the car back. Looks just as good as before... better actually. It was fixed professionally at a local dealership body shop by one of the best in the business in central PA, and was ran through insurance, so it should be on the history. I have detailed pictures of before, and can take cleaned up after pictures.

Simply put, someone walked up over the hood and onto the roof, and proceeded to pry the sunroof open. The glass shattered as expected, but in their effort, they dented and marred the roof. So therefore, there were dents and scratches on the hood/roof/deck lid. This all was fixed and looks perfect. The car got a new sunroof glass panel, and sliding cover panel.

The BBS's are coming off in the next week, and may or may not sell to my brother. Just FYI.

so do the old set of wheels come with the car? and what did you drop the price too?

does the stock exhaust have the dpf still on it?

I don't have the factory Charleston wheels. I may sell the BBS's to my brother. If I sell the car before he buys the BBS's, they will go with the car if the buyer would like. If the BBS's sell before the car, then the car will come with a 17" winter setup.

The price is at 20.

I still have the entire stock exhaust except for the muffler.

In response to MonsterTDI09,"If that car was pretty close to stock, that car would be gone by now". I have a non modded stock version, in white with DSG, same miles and price. Still have it.

The BBS's are off the car, I still have them, they're just in my basement awaiting a thorough cleaning. Winter wheels/tires are now on: 17x7.5 MSW type 14, with 225/45/17 Blizzaks.

C'mon. Why not just PM the person? Why spam my thread more?
Very nice car. As the others have said...it's VERY tastefully modified. That being said...you're doing yourself a disservice if you just blow off the people that have given you input about the car being modified. Simply put...it is more difficult to sell a modified car than an unmodified one. Period.

Even listing a car on a forum (which I did with a Jetta GLI 1.8T years ago)...it will take more time to sell a modified car than a stock one. It took me a couple months to find a buyer for that car. If it was stock...it wouldn't have lasted more than a few weeks.

One major thing that you're dealing with...in the $20k range...most people will be financing a car...not paying cash. No bank is going to lend $20k on a Jetta TDI that is four model years old. So...you're stuck with buyers that can both qualify for a $15k+ vehicle loan AND have cash on hand to make up the difference. That narrows down your field of potential buyers a lot.

If you're serious about selling the car...return the suspension, exhaust, and anything else you can reasonably do back to stock. This will enable you to lower the price back to a reasonable amount for a 2010 vehicle...and make up the difference by selling the parts separately (including the BBS wheels).

This is coming from someone that's sold multiple vehicle on car forums...including a VW...so take it for what it's worth (to you).;)

Edit: Good luck with the house search. I bought my first house three years ago. I'm debating about what to do with it at the moment (I'd like to move and downsize).
