Maintenance:
-Timing Belt 7 years
-AC Condenser 7 years
-Full Suspension 4 years (STX Full Coilovers)
-Clutch 4 years (Single mass g60 flywheel vr6 clutch)
-Front Brakes 4 years (GTI 288mm brake /spindle upgrade)
-Alternator 3 years
-Battery 2 years
-Injection Pump Seals 2 years
-Starter 2 years
-Ignition Switch 2 years
The Bad:
-Street parked so paint shows wear
-Small clear coat peel only on hood- one spot about 1in x 4 in
-Small part of headliner is falling
-Small dents in both rocker panels
Holds a current KY title.
Have receipts for maintenance.
I have owned this car for 11 years and it is very reliable. Always worked on by trusted TDI mechanics or myself.
It has been on many road trips between Chicago and KY. I drove it across the country from KY to CA without issue.
