I lost my butt on one less than a year ago too. I loved that car and wish we would have kept it. That being said I think what is hurting you is like the other guys said. Tan interior is terrible and the other interior stuff if you don't like it is a turn off. I would maybe be interested in another one as a runner for my wife but only at about $2500.
You are down to $4000 just throwing a number out there on it. Sounds like you are wanting to get out of it. You don't seem to be getting any bites on it. Not to mention now that its a "not so clean diesel".
I leave on vacation Thursday will not be back till 19th if you cant wait and need to buy a clean low mileage ALH please email baker3kt@embarqmail.com Thank You
I don't know about the others. Mods don't always work in your favor either. I have seen very few Beetles sell for your price that weren't very low miles, stock and in very excellent condition. But if you aren't getting calls every day on it it is priced higher than what others think it is worth. I flip a few cars a year and if they don't sell in a week or two they are priced too high. I am into my current Beetle for about $7500 and couldn't sell it for near that if I wanted to, but I don't.
So the wrong color interior , mods are not so good , price is to high , diesel price is to high , I guess a TDI is not such a good thing to buy unless you want to keep it forever . So on that note $3800
WOW Just realized I have dropped the price $2000 and still nothing . I guess I need to keep this jewel for myself - any suggestions? By the way sale is over $3800 OBO
