ID in return line is 3mm iirc. I just used the 3mm vaccuum hose that IDParts sells at their direcition. If that is all you need to get setup, I have approx 3 feet of the 3mm hose in my toolbox I can bring for you. Let me know if that works.Roof finished yeah!!!I do plan on being there - the offer for the popup tent, beer, and mini BBQ still stands, let me know what is needed, I don't want to carry more crap then is necessary or needed.
If I get Biochoppers to install injectors before Saturday no guru is needed; but if that doesn't happen, I need a guru to install my new (used) injectors. Still searching for info on Viton tubing for injector return lines; I think the ID is 1/8”, OD is 1/4” and wall thickness is 1/16” anyone know if that’s correct?
I'll bring some beers, water, and softdrinks along with my umbrellaI think we just need beer now. Might wanna bring the pop up tent incase of rain though.....
Thanks SuperAdellic! 3 millimeters = 0.11811 of an inch, 1/8 of an inch is 0.125, about 0.00689 of an inch difference in diameter; about as close as I can get to off the shelf Viton tubing, that is, if I can get it in time. I run a Biodiesel blend, I’m not sure the vacuum line will last very long, but sure, if you can bring it, it could be a big help in a pinch, and probably last until I can replace it.ID in return line is 3mm iirc. Rain or not I will be there, mot likely around 11:00 AM.I think we just need beer now. Might wanna bring the pop up tent incase of rain though.....
You're on; will bring the tent and the Weber BBQ.Scott's real busy trying to get a build ready for the dyno. We've been under and over a car for the last two days. Friday's gonna be busy for him (alone).
Bring the injectors and lets do them at the GTG.
looks like we have 3 or 4 pop ups perfect.
If you can bring that weber, I think that will fit my very large pot of chili.
Yes, please. long story, but most of my tools are in storage, and I don't own a slide hammer anyway. Thanks! I assume someone will have Vagcom.I've got the slide hammer covered. I've also got about 3 sets of injector lines and a torque wrench. Should I just bring my tool box? All I've got for furniture is two fold up chairs, so I really appreciate the popup tents.
I might be late to this one. I'm currently attempting to fix my Passat's trunk latch which suddenly refuses to open with either key or release button, plus I have to pull a rear axle beam off a wrecked New Beetle I've got in my possession for a friend in L.A. before heading out.
Awesome! It's alive!!!!!! See y'all in the morning
Okay. I have VagCom as well. Are there any specific tools that anyone needs me to bring (injector slide hammer has already been mentioned)? I have a lot of tools (roll away tool box) and I can't fit them all in the detachable top section. Let me know so I can grab them in the morning.Yes, please. long story, but most of my tools are in storage, and I don't own a slide hammer anyway. Thanks! I assume someone will have Vagcom.
I'm looking forward to seeing this swap as I have thought about doing this myself.I'm planning on being there for the morning through 2pm or so...
You lucky fellows will get to set eyes on a beat up, incomplete, but running ALH 4runner.
Maybe, I'll actually be completely proud of it by next year.
