Smoke/steam from my oil cap!!

I have just bought a 2014 jetta, runs and drives fine, but there is smoke or steam coming from the oil cap. Not a lot, but I dont know if its normal or the beginning of the end of my jetta. I have never owned a diesel, and im scared that im in for a new engine
