Slightly worried

Today I accidently put 1/4 tank of Low Sulphur Diesel in my 2011 Jetta TDI. I didn't notice until I had put 3 gallons in that it wasn't ULSD. The VW dealer said I was OK and to fill it up with ULSD to dilute the LSD. Should I be worried?

No. In fact, many (if not most) LSD sources are the same as ULSD, so it may likely be ULSD, regardless of the pump label. Even off-road Diesel is the same here as ULSD, dyed upon delivery.

It's my understanding that you have to go way out of your way to find any LSD, as in far away from urban areas.

I do recall that although it said it was LSD, it also said it was 15ppm sulphur content, which I think what ULSD is rated at. It looks like I may be OK.

Fear not. All on-road diesel was mandated to be ULSD (15ppm sulfur max) beginning Dec 1, 2010.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like I was worried for nothing. That station should update their sticker.

No worries! I've encountered a few stations with old stickers as well. It's annoying and I try avoiding places that can't even be bothered to update their pumps.

No need to worry.
The last offical report I overviewed had fuel compliance at 99% and that was to day the 1% in error was a supplier process problem.
i.e. all refiners at this point are creating ULSD.

Now in terms of labels / stickers, they are not there yet at all ..... this is a funny area, the refiners and haulers are doing their part but it is not up to them to re-sticker / re-label the pumps. Guess who could care less about a sticker ...the mini-mart owner.
