Skid plate. Best and most reasonable options?

These guys have some... Engine Guard although not a true skid plate, as long as you're not off-roading...

I installed this one on my MK6 Jetta a few months ago. https://www.idparts.com/heavy-duty-...k6-jettabeetle-a3009-p-5372.html#product_tabs It might be more heavy-duty than the one listed above. It cost a little more but we usually get what we pay for. Either option is better than the stock splash guard.

The NCS cars do not seem to be nearly as prone to oil pan smashing as the A4 cars, I'm not sure I'd worry too much about it so long as the OEM plastic bits are all in place.
