Sorry to bring up a slightly dead thread, but what do you mean Pandora isn't available to our mounty friends? Do wireless phone interwebs not exist in Canada?

Pandora picks up our Canadian ip and then service is denied.

After refusing multiple phone offers around $12-14/month we got a letter offering $77/year ($6.42/mo). When I called to renew, they said it was + taxes(!) but it was still around $84 IIRC ($7/mo).

The catch is they want a credit card number and the contract AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS at the "current market price". I've already set a reminder to cancel the month before it expires. . .

Funny thing is they still call and send emails even though I've renewed. Go figure.

When I called Sirius to cancel my trade-in, and initiate my new, I was told that my trial period was 14 months!!!!! Go-figure. Who was I to argue?

A lot of credit card companies have what is called a virtual credit card number. You get it online in your account page. It it good for only the number of times you set and price. After that it's gone. So you can use this and after the first charge it's dead. I use this all the time for web based charges and things like this. XM is easy , Sirus is a pain
