Side View Mirror Adjustments in Reverse

My manual says I can program my mirrors to automatically lower and view the rear wheels when in reverse. My MFI display has a menu tree that allows for that adjustment.

However, I have followed the instructions and I can't get that feature to work.

What am I missing?

2011 JSW. Have no idea if I have "Kessy" or not.

this is for a sedan section, you would get more responses if you posted in the right section.

As for the Kessy, if you have push button start then you have KESSY.
Oops. I guess I clicked on the forum BELOW the one I was aiming for !

Thanks for the Kessy explanation ! I don't have that.

Does the Jetta TDI sedan 2011 have the "side view mirror in reverse" programmable option?
The Sportwagen does not have it, and the sedan has been de-contented compared to the wagen. Therefore I seriously doubt it. It should be easy to tell - just shift into reverse and watch the side mirrors. If they go down, it has it. If they remain stationary, it does not. Someone with VCDS could look at your BCM (Body Control Module) and see if the option exists.

Have Fun!

No, you need power memory seats AND a highline door control module. It was only on the passenger side. These were decontented years ago from North America.

To the first poster, your menu probably says adjust the mirrors together, not the pass side only feature mentioned in the owner's manual.
