shroud for (EGR?) cooler inside passenger side bumper cover

shroud for intercooler inside passenger side bumper cover

my bad, ignore subject, not the egr cooler like on the head this is the condensor down in the passenger side of the bumper cover

this is the missing piece i need to put the car back together. directs air to the intercooler

is there a part number for this shroud?

do i even need it?

That's the intercooler down by the bumper. The air duct is definitely needed. It directs cooling air to the intercooler.

VW part number 1J0 121 467A

Google the part number, many vendors carry it. About $30 or so.
