So, I just heard about this yesterday and I'm riding the fence about driving up to Seattle. I love that city but hate the rainy winter weather up there. I'll check with the boss to see if it's cool for me to miss a few days. Also, if someone's willing to change out my timing belt and water pump while I'm up there, it will give me an added incentive to attend.

hey, i'm a new memeber - but have visisted this site several times. I had no idea there was such a huge deisel/bio-diesel following in the pnw. i'm an ex-member of volksport nw, if any of you remember it. i have my diesel rabbit, not a tdi but i'm hoping i'll find acceptance. i've had it for about 3 1/2 years now. best car i've ever owned. i'm looking forward to meeting everyone and possibly seeing some familiar faces. please feel free to drop me a line.

Maybe just a few blanks we can write information?

I am throwing the tools together today for demonstrating how to do the timing adjustment.

I won't be able to do any timing belts at this, there simply is not enough time plus I really dont want to drag that much stuff up.

I will plan on meeting up with folks in in the Portland area near the Vancouver mall. I will be starting out from Camas so I will be in the neighborhood.

michael and godlike...
thanks, the letters took about a month to get together. Cullen Holmes over in Estonia got them together for me for fiddy dolla'.

If it stops raining I'll wash the car so my letters will be sparklin' for the GTG.

I'll be putting the lug on some of you to join in the BD Rally ( see biodieselnow.org). Next August, burning the bean on the northern sector through to Mt Rushmore. You could go all the way to Washington DC if you really want to. I've been there and still have some on my shoes

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'll volunteer my car for the demo, if you're interested. (I'll still pay too!)

On a cool morning but above glow plug temperature, it's up to 5 seconds of cranking now. Can't hold out much longer! I'll try to be there by 11:30.

Great Job by Aaron today on "The Dave Ross Show" on KIRO 710 AM Radio. Got to hear most of it. Was actually working at the time.

The weather forecast for Sunday is sunshine. In other words... bring your raincoat.

My friend will be bringing a video camera along to capture the whole thing on footage. We can convert it to MPEG to let those who missed the event to download it.

Wow, this sounds great. I've not been checking the site for months . . . shame on me.

Add one more TDI to the parking mix.

I use B20 in my pleasure boat. It's great but have not had the courage to run in the TDI. { Except for a few galons in one tank before doing a fuel filter change.}

See you Sunday.

Hey, does anybody have Pete's (Drive By Wire) or Heinz's address? I'm trying to get some parts (water pump and screws, etc.) sent up that way from Jim Royston at Diesel Geek in order to do a timing belt swap but it's kinda hard to get the stuff sent up that way when I don't know of any addresses to send the stuff to. I gotta have the info by tomorrow around 5:00 am or I can forget about changing the belt up there. Click on the little e-mail envelope thingy icon up on top of this post and send me the info if you're in the know. I'd be most appreciative of the information.

Could someone bring a multimeter with them? My car has that glowplug code/CEL. I would like to be able to get it fixed up and cleared. I'll bring a wire harness and plugs so I'm ready either way (return what isn't used). Prior thanks.
