Code Found on my Hyundai is a P0000, P0000No Self Diagnostic Failure Indicated.

Is this a actual code or is my reader not reading the code right?

I have the scangauge bought 3 years ago. Thanks.

Near as I can tell, it means there are no codes. What did they say on the hyundai forum?

P0000 is a "non code", means everything is ok...no codes found.

funny you are able to read it, most scanners will not pick up P0000; ie they are SUPPOSED to skip that code and not display it.

Is your scangauge of an older vintage than the vehicle?

The only time I have seen that code was using an old mastertech scan tool (maybe 8 years out of date) to scan a newer vehicle. All of the control modules with no codes displayed P0000.

You need an HMC-specific scan tool, the generic ones won't do the job, same as any other carmaker. We have one that is supposed to have been made by the same people that make the OEM one, it works pretty well.
