I'm about to do the 10K service on Dorie's Beetle. The 10K interval says to rotate tires, I have a floor jack and jack stands and I know where the notches are for the jack. Once it is lifted, where is the safest point to set the jackstand so that I can lift the other wheel to be rotated?

Anyone remember what size torx bits hold on the belly pan?

I got jackstands that have a notch in the support. So I use the car's jack to jack up the car, slide the jack stand under the car next to the jack so that the pinch weld fits into the notch (without any damage to the pinch weld) and lower the car onto the jack stand. This is with a Golf; I don't think a Beetle would be much different.
