RXP additive??

has anybody used RXP additive?? i've used it on my gas vehicles, but im new to the diesel game as of 3 weeks ago..

Why wouldn't you use the tried & tested Stanadyne DFA? It's the only DFA that's approved not only by VAG, but several auto makers for their Diesel engines?

Al, your popular diesel additives are Stanadyne (as TDI POWER mentioned), Power Service, Howes.

Gasoline engines and diesel engines are very different beasts. I would never put any fuel additive designed for a gas engine into a diesel engine. The needs of these engines are very different - don't press your luck. If you opt to use an additive, buy one made for modern diesel engines (ULSD compatible). All of the companies named above make good diesel fuel additives. Do some reading in the fuel and lubrication forum.

gotta question. I used the stanadyne and it seemed to help my fuel mileage a tad has anyone else found this to be true or is it just in my mind?
