Roof rack for thule

2005 Passat Sedan
Doing a bunch of skiing and don't wanna take my excursion when the weather is clear.. EX takes 62$ fuel Passat TDI 22$. *LOL*..

I need bars to attach a thule or the like and have no idea what I need and how they mount.. Can anybody point me in the right direction..
From what I have be looking at assume you have an existing base ?

2015 Golf Sportwagen 6 speed manual. B5 died at 302k miles.
If you have a sedan, these will not fit. You need a wagon that has the roof rails that run the length of the roof.

For a sedan, you will need thule load (cross) bars,

a "fit kit" for a b5.5 and a 400 "foot pack".

And lock cylinders if you are so inclined.

With the above, you will have a rack that fits your car - search ebay for the above terms and you will find what you are looking for.
