2012 Passat TDI SEL Black/Beige
My wife, son, and I took a road trip to St. Louis to finally get our 2012 Passat TDI SEL. It is a black/beige and so far we love it. Going to take the 5 hour drive back home to get to know it better. It has been an adventure trying to find one anywhere near us in the colors we wanted. I used all the online tools Cars.com, Autotrader.com, and VW Inventory search to find it. Had a used 2012 ready to be transported from Oklahoma City to Memphis last week and baseball sized hail put an end to that Passat. Now we have our Passat TDI and we are looking forward to many miles of great MPG.

Congrats on your new car. I have had mine for almost 3 months and have 4,000 miles on mine with no troubles. 48 mpg almost every fillup.

48 MPG via pencil and paper with a DSG transmission? That's impressive. Or is it just the reading off the MFI?

My mileage is with pen and paper. I have been getting 48 almost every tank. I like the fact that I can pump my own fuel.

That's awesome! You should consider representing for the TDI DSG folks on Fuelly.com with those kind of DSG MPG's. It's free.

That is pretty awesome. Ive had mine for 3 months, with over 8k miles on it now, and have been averaging 42-44 MPG manually calculating each tank.
