you can use 2396 or a krypton 3497 bulb. These are used if you are using non LED bulbs. I use the 2396 which is brighter but may opt to use a 3497 in the near future.

The 2396 bulbs do put out a good amount of light. I was somewhat in awe by how much brighter they were from the 7506 stock bulbs. I just ordered a 10 pack of sylvania 3497 that I will be installing this weekend.

You need to physically remove the two nuts that hold the housing in to install the new bulbs.

Let me know . I don't get my bulbs in till tomorrow. I'll also drop a pair in my DRL housing too. I had 2396 in the DRL housing but they only lasted 3 1/2 months so I put the standard 7506 back in.

I just installed the 3497 on one side of the DRL , Rear Turn Signal and Reverse Light. I'll have to see if there is a difference. It'll have to wait till tonight since there is still light out.

The city light is a W5W or 2825.
