Hi guys, I just replaced my brake light switch and changed fuse 13, my brake lights are now working but the glow plug light is still flashing and when I scan with my VAGCOM, it still gives me a bad brake light switch.

Any idea what's wrong?

I just went through this. My solution was fuse 43 was missing. But that seems to be uncommon.

More common fixes are fixing brake light bulbs that went out, and making sure you have the right bulbs in the tail light.

Ensuring proper function of the switch with a multimeter. One red wire gets 12v and the other connects to it when the brake is pressed. The white wires are connected when the brake is released, and disconnected when the pedal is pressed.
